In March 2023, Dr Anissa Haddadi organized a conference with the Centre for Postcolonial Studies at Goldsmiths University in London, titled “Decolonial Thinking and Revolutionary Events”, which Dr Jabr attended. This event led to the subsequent interview in June 2025. The conference papers are scheduled for publication in a special issue of Interventions titled (De)colonial Thinking and Revolutionary Events in 2026. However, due to the ongoing genocide in Palestine, Interventions agreed to publish this interview ahead of the special issue
