The objective of this work was to portray the memories of athletes and former professional soccer players, with regard to their relationships with coaches. In terms of methodological procedures, we made use of oral history, conducting five interviews with athletes of the sport. From the narratives, the analysis of established relationships provided a different understanding of this space, since we circulate between the macro-historical -when we approach the issues
