This analysis investigates the effects of stereotype-based rules on Black women in the relationships between the characters Mia Warren and Elena Richardson in the series Little Fires Everywhere. The analysis employs the Analysis of Rules' Effects, based on the assumptions of radical behaviorism. Although the series is fictional, it reflects real social dynamics, showing how the relationships between characters illustrate the persistence of rules that, despite surface-level changes, still maintain control and oppressive subordination over Black women
