The article discusses the actor's presence in the context of Digital Theater, in shows performed in real time. It is based on the understanding that presence is realized in the spectator's perception, and can be realized through the imagination, even when the performer's body is only visualized through technological mediation. Taking the spectacles Peça, Euforia and O Homem Que Dizia Não as the corpus of analysis, three main procedures are identified: the activation of an imaginary spectator; the incorporation of risky tasks performed live and the exploration of the interactive possibilities offered by digital technologies. These procedures characterize ways of converting technical mediation into a dynamic space for performative action
