The following text is a testimony of life, as part of a culture native to Mesoamerica, the mixe culture (ayuuk jya’ay) of Oaxaca, Mexico. It narrates the way in which the identity of a native is disrupted, by the majority society and by the school, which imposes a homogeneous identity and a different language to be diverse. He points out that it implies moving through the global world and the vicissitudes that are faced with the other rationality of thought, in addition to the linguistic conflicts that are experienced and the linguistic transfers that violently learn a foreign language causes, and finally the effects of this molding of cultural and linguistic identity that it causes, when the identity of the native speaker is not strengthened
