This paper aims to analyze the lexical variation in Spanish millennial rappers through a textual corpus of their most representative songs. The study focuses on parameters such as the most common semantic fields in their lyrics; code switching and idiomatic plurality and, finally, semantic transformation processes such as dysphemisms, neologisms and relexifications. Analysis shows how these procedures are closely related to the representative aspects of millennial language, on the one hand, and to those typical of rap slang, on the other. It is also intended to demonstrate the suitability of rap as a source of data for the study of young people language and, specifically, for the analysis of the incipient line of research on millennial language
