This article analyses the works selected for the Fringe section, a part of the Lubimovka Festival – one of the key dramaturgical events in the Russian-speaking theatrical community. Since its inception, the Fringe section has been a space for experimental plays that often transcend conventional theatrical forms, challenging the traditional language of the theater. The innovation of the artists highlighted by the Fringe curators lies in incorporating contemporary technologies – an integral part of their daily lives – into the creative process. They create dramaturgy by using techniques borrowed from the social media and tools of artificial intelligence, representing a groundbreaking approach to the traditional theatrical forms
