Professor Joshua B. Nelson, a citizen of the Cherokee Nation and a native Oklahoman, is an associate professor of English at the University of Oklahoma, whose work focuses on American Indian literature and film. He is also affiliated faculty with the departments of Film and Media Studies, Native American Studies, and Women’s and Gender Studies. We seized the opportunity of his presence in Europe on a research project to invite him in early April 2023 to the Université de Picardie Jules Verne
