Introduction by John MinfordThese are three poems from a series of ten written for Clothink, a ‘non-fashion show’, an ‘art-installation’ or ‘happening’, staged by Leung Ping-kwan (PK) in January 1998 in collaboration with the young non-fashion designer Wessie Ling. Wessie, who went on in 2007 to write a book entitled Fusionable Cheongsam, is now a well-established cultural historian and visual artist teaching at London Metropolitan University.
