Ten years on from the proposal of the “Belt and Road” Initiative, the store of policies has continuously grown, promoting the high-quality development of vocational education in service of the construction of the “Belt and Road.” Vocational colleges and universities have had remarkable results in international student development and management, the establishment of brands for extraterritorial educational operations, the promotion of standards, service of international cooperation on production capacity, and other areas. At the same time, vocational education in service of the construction of the “Belt and Road” faces imperfect policies for support and assurance, failure as of yet to form normalized mechanisms for collaboration between the government, schools and businesses, a persistent need to strengthen the construction of platforms for extraterritorial educational operations, service capabilities that await improvement, and other problems, and is still necessary to strengthen central planning and policy assurance for vocational education in service of the construction of the “Belt and Road,” perfect normalized mechanisms for collaboration between the government, schools and businesses in service of the “Belt and Road,” deepen the intensions of platforms for extraterritorial educational operations, and improve the capacity of colleges and universities to serve the construction of the “Belt and Road.”
