Vie, mort et vies d’un espace-alibi. Trajectoires d’un campement urbain de migrants ouest-africains au Maroc

L’article propose une ethnographie d’un campement urbain à Rabat, occupé par des personnes migrantes ouest-africaines souhaitant rejoindre l’Europe depuis le Maroc. En revenant sur l’émergence, la vie en marge et la destruction de ce campement, ainsi que sur la reproduction matérielle de ce cycle en d’autres lieux après sa disparition, l’article met en lumière les politiques de contrôle qui s’exercent sur et à travers le campement (mise en attente, abjection, incertitude, (im)mobilité forcée), ainsi que les formes de résistance développées par ses habitant·es (savoir-habiter la mobilité, accélérations et décélérations des projets migratoires, désobéissance circulatoire). L’article propose également une réflexion sur les tensions contradictoires qui traversent cet espace de vie, et avance des pistes d’analyse pour qualifier le campement urbain dans un contexte de frontiérisation
