This paper aimed to analyze the nature of Iseb's thought, especially its nationaldevelopmentalist aspect.It was a thought born to resolve a stubborn and irresolvable issue: the autonomy of the national bourgeoisie.Its authors supported the social mission of creating a philosophy to accelerate capitalist accumulation.It conformed to a perspectivist theory of knowledge, supported by phenomenology and agnosticism, and defended the alliance of classes in the name of "national development".Such points made it impossible to glimpse new alternatives, resulting in the old conciliatory solutions.Examining these aspects becomes useful, especially given the influence of national-developmentalism in the current public debate
