The paper resumes the foundations of the politicist thought and analyzes some of its essential components as both distributivism and manipulation, considering the enabling historical conditions.It seeks to discuss such elements in the general and in the Brazilian specific process through the colonial way.It also discusses the current relevance of politicist thought in Brazil today
