In lexical studies, Onomastics is dedicated to the study of names. Among others, Onomastics includes Anthroponymy, which studies anthroponyms (personal names). This anthroponymic study aims to investigate the names of people born in Jacarezinho, Paraná, in the years 2022 and 2023, analyzing forenames and surnames (family names), most frequent names, name extensions, ethnic and etymological origins of surnames, graphic variations, naming patterns and connections between local history and names. For this, data provided by the civil registry office of Jacarezinho-PR were analyzed, a total of 946 registries, after authorization from the Court of Justice of Paraná. This is, therefore, a documentary research of a statistical-analytical nature
