Years ago I went to a lunch at a friend's aunt and uncle's house, for which I was the "guest of honor." This meant that the lady of the house would make, in my honor, a dish that was the "family jewel", made on rare occasions. As much as I insisted on knowing what this dish was, my friend wasn't willing to tell me. All he said was, "You'll love it."
