В статье рассматривается проблема отождествления императора и бога Хора.Победоносный образ римского правителя, отождествленного с сокологоловым богом, пропагандировался через изображения на храмовых рельефах, монетах и почитался в частных религиозных ассоциациях.Согласно тексту греческого папируса P. Giss 3, черты солярных богов Хора, Аполлона и Юпитера появлялись в образе живущего императора -Адриана, -который контаминировался с ними в долине реки Нил и выступал в качестве психопомпа, ведущего на небо почившего правителя.Правитель также выступал в образе Хора-Гелиоса-Ра, проявляя себя как Sol Invictus.Усопший император -Траян -вбирал черты Юпитера-триумфатора и Осириса -победителя смерти.Контаминация образов почившего императора-отца и живущего правителя-сына, отраженная в P.
