The article discusses the methods of term formation in architectural terminology based on the material of the English and Russian languages. The research aims to identify structural and semantic features of terms used in architectural discourse, with an emphasis on productive models of their formation. The methodological basis of the work is comparative linguistic analysis. The material includes a corpus of 300 architectural terms, evenly distributed between English and Russian, selected from reputable dictionaries and textbooks. Classification methods based on morphological, syntactic, and semantic features, as well as quantitative analysis of model productivity, were used. The study showed that in both English and Russian, the most productive methods are morphological (suffixation, prefix, and word composition), syntactic (terminological phrases), and semantic (specialization of meaning, metaphor, and metonymy). At the same time, differences in the structure and frequency of models were revealed depending on the language system
