The aim of this article is to show an edition anunique obituary of Zofia Antonina Niedźwiecka, an outstanding, long-standing prioress of the convent of Poor Clares in Gniezno, who ruled more then 21 years in very difficult time in polish history, after the Swedish Deluge. The author of obituary was the Franscican monk from closter of Gniezno, who well knew Niedźwiecka. The obituary presented not only the catalogue of virtues of the prioress corresponding to the models of monastic holiness of that time, as well as to the ideals and virtues of life of the first Poor Clares (were: piety of life, love of sisters, diligence, prudence, and mercy), but also the unique information about her: the character and the personality, physical appearance, and the last hours of her life
