Zofia Maria née Sieniawska Denhoffowa, by secondo marriage Czartoryska (d. 1771), voivode of Połock, was the only heir to the huge fortune of the Opaliński, Sieniawski and Denhoff families. Comprehensively educated, well-known in the community and enjoying enormous financial resources, she had ideal conditions for efficiently managing her court. Not much material has been preserved about Zofia Maria, and her memory was overshadowed by the achievements of her famous mother, Elżbieta Sieniawska née Lubomirska, and her second husband, August Aleksander Czartoryski (d. 1778). The aim of the article is to present Zofia Maria Denhoff as an independent property manager. The period of her public activity was exceptionally short and coincided with her widowhood, following the death of her first husband, Stanisław Ernest Denhoff in 1728. During this time, the estate managers proved particularly helpful to her, remaining in constant and direct contact, trying to scrupulously fulfill her orders. The considerations presented in this article are based on responses sent by the administrators of individual farms to their employers. The matters described allow us to present Zofia Maria as a manager of the manor, to delve into the realities of everyday life on a then modern noble farm, and to determine the scope of duties entrusted to the administrators by the voivode of Połock
