This study aims to explain the impact of sins of memory on trauma in the short story Rēdāhōzen by Murakami Haruki . Rēdāhōzen tells the story of Kanojo who has a trauma caused by his parents' divorce. The trauma that happened to her was influenced by her sins of memory to understand the traumatic events that occurred. The author uses theory of sins of memory initiated by Daniel Sachert and qualitative research methods through application to data collection and data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the sins of memory that affect the characters are found in sins of memory commission in the form of sins of bias and sins of suggestibility. It makes the character experience repeated failures in love relationships and avoids marriage . Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh dari sins of memory terhadap trauma dalam cerita pendek Rēdāhōzen karya Haruki Murakami. Rēdāhōzen bercerita tentang Kanojo yang memiliki trauma yang dipicu perceraian orang tuanya. Trauma yang terjadi padanya dipengaruhi oleh kesalahan memorinya ( sins of memory ) untuk memahami peristiwa traumatis yang terjadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori sins of memory yang dicetuskan oleh Daniel Sachert dan metode penelitian kualitatif melalui pengaplikasian dengan pengumpulan data dan analisis data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sins of memory yang memengaruhi tokoh terdapat dari kesalahan memori commision yang berbentuk dosa bias dan dosa s uggestibility. Dosa memori tersebut menjadikan tokoh mengalami kegagalan berulang dalam hubungan percintaan dan keenganan dalam pernikahan
