Representasi Bahagia dan Kasih Sayang dalam Novel Cara Berbahagia Tanpa Kepala Karya Henny Triskaidekaman

Humans are always looking for the meaning of happiness in their life. But various things can become obstacles in the process of interpreting happiness. This study aims to analyze the representation of happiness and love in the novel How to Be Happy Without a Head by Henny Triskaidekaman using a literary psychology approach. The theory used is Martin Seligman's positive psychology theory and Erich Fromm's theory of love. This research was conducted qualitatively through a series of analyzes of material objects to obtain concrete evidence. The results of this study reveal that the characters in the novel How to Be Happy Without a Head go through a series of events that make it difficult for them to find the meaning of happiness because efforts to achieve happiness itself are still hampered by various things including affection which is not conveyed and well received, so many problems arise. in the lives of the characters that affect the quality of their lives. But humans can live more meaningfully if each individual can accept circumstances and forgive the past. Abstrak Manusia senantiasa mencari makna kebahagiaan dalam hidupnya, tetapi ada berbagai hal yang bisa menjadi hambatan dalam proses memaknai kebahagiaan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis representasi bahagia dan kasih sayang dalam novel Cara Berbahagia Tanpa Kepala karya Henny Triskaidekaman dengan menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Adapun teori yang digunakan adalah teori psikologi positif Martin Seligman dan teori cinta Erich Fromm. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kualitatif melalui serangkaian analisis terhadap objek material untuk mendapatkan bukti konkret. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa para tokoh dalam novel Cara Berbahagia Tanpa Kepala melalui serangkaian kejadian yang membuat mereka sulit menemukan makna bahagia karena upaya dalam mencapai kebahagiaan itu sendiri masih terhambat oleh berbagai hal termasuk kasih sayang yang tidak tersampaikan dan diterima dengan baik, sehingga muncul banyak permasalahan dalam kehidupan para tokoh yang memengaruhi kualitas hidup mereka. Namun manusia dapat hidup lebih bermakna jika setiap individu mampu untuk menerima keadaan dan memaafkan masa lalu
