The Lausanne Peace Conference is a document showing that a country defeated in the First World War is among the victors and has broken the chains of captivity that hinder its honor, independence and development, such as capitulations.Misak- Milli (The National Pact), which gave direction to the War of Independence, was implemented to a significant extent with the Treaty of Lausanne.What is understood from the Lausanne Peace Conference is that the idea and object it reminded attracted attention, and this context, the essence of the comments and evaluations made in the newspapers "Cumhuriyet", "Milliyet", "Son Posta", which also witnessed the War of Independence and the first years of the Republic, emerged as follows;It was reminded that the Lausanne Peace Conference was the result of an epic victory, and this agreement has been evaluated as "...the inkwell of honorable peace has become the heart of the Turkish nation and its ink has been the blood of the Turkish nation."The Lausanne Peace Conference was the end of the old era, the beginning of the new era in Turkish history, and the completion of Dumlupnar, and at the same time, it was emphasized that the sacrifices of those who lost their lives in the war of independence were not wasted.The value the Treaty of Lausanne deserves for the new Turkish state; it was seen as "It is one of the foundations of the Turkish Republic and its revolution.Today's mighty Turkey was founded on Lausanne."Just as the Turkish army won in Dumlupnar, Turkish diplomacy also won in Lausanne."In the research, the semantic load of the Lausanne Peace Conference, the common area created by this conference and various newspaper articles were examined.The study was based on the research model, which aims to collect information about the characteristics of the universe and to describe people, situations or events completely and accurately, and the articles of Cumhuriyet, Milliyet and Son Posta newspapers and copyrighted works were used
