This study evaluates the effectiveness of a web-based self-help psychoeducation intervention delivered through the Si-Konseling platform, which uses strengths-based cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to address mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and stress in survivors of abuse. A randomized controlled trial (RCT) was conducted with 182 participants from three Indonesian provinces. Participants were randomly assigned to the experimental group ( n = 91), which received the intervention, or the control group ( n = 91), placed on a waiting list. Psychological outcomes were measured using the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-21 (DASS-21) and the Psychological General Well-Being Index (PGWBI) before and after the intervention. The results of Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) showed a significant improvement in participants’ mental health outcomes in the experimental group compared to the control group, with large effect sizes observed across anxiety, depression, stress, and well-being. Post-hoc analysis revealed significant differences between the groups, confirming the intervention’s efficacy in reducing psychological distress and enhancing well-being. These findings suggest that the Si-Konseling program can serve as an effective tool for addressing mental health concerns in populations affected by abuse
