Desterritorialización juvenil

This work is a qualitative study that describes the history and trajectory of three return migrants deported to Mexico City. Their daily practices and life path are analyzed at different times in their migratory history: before migrating, during their life in the United States, and upon returning to Mexico. In Mexico City, in recent years the number of government flights from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service (ICE) has increased (Olivo, 2017). Many of these returned immigrants are destined for CDMX (Lakhani, 2017). The work is part of a larger binational study (Mexico City/Los Angeles) of the University of Southern California, the Ramón de la Fuente Muñiz National Institute of Psychiatry “Disparaties in health among floating immigrants”, which seeks to determine the patterns of illicit drug and alcohol consumption, risks and harmful effects on the health of the returned immigrant population
