Introduction: This article reflects on the practice of urban landscape drawing, as practiced outdoors by the global Urban Sketchers (USk) community. Methodology: It has a descriptive, critical, and interdisciplinary purpose, a phenomenological approach, and is structured through bibliographic, documentary, and field research. Objective: The aim was to understand the functioning of communities in global networks with local action, from practices that construct identities based on specific geographies, belonging, and daily life. Results: Inserted in contemporary visual culture, the act of sketching contributes to a sense of belonging to the city, the construction of identities, and the documentation of daily life. The article explores a segment of this community, the USk Campinas, which operates in the territory attentive to social dynamics, despite reaffirming socio-spatial segregation
