O projeto íntimo de Lola Akinmadee o conceito de comunicação de Muniz Sodré

This text proposes a look at the photographic work “The Intimacy Project” (2015), by photographer Lola Akinmade. In this work, the photographer produces portraits of each person and arranges them in pairs. The portraits have the same framing, although there is a change in the positioning of the camera, which causes a change in the look of the person being photographed. The intention was to think about the work based on Muniz Sodré’s concept of communication. To do this, the photographs are observed from the point of view of the image itself, the working method and the visual montage based on the discussions proposed, respectively, by Soulages, Duguet and Didi-Huberman. It is concluded that the authors of this text, affected by the work, act by looking and perceiving the communicational link that permeates the photographic work placed in dialogue
