Thinking about the relationships between literature and journalism represents a challenging exercise as it entails perceptions of complex interactions, and games of attraction and distance. It also reveals the need to look critically at the contextualization of this phenomenon, moving beyond aesthetical issues. In this interview, we talked with the Argentinean Literature Professor Dr Geraldine Rogers, from Universidade Nacional de La Plata. She helped to shed light on the historical and social contexts for the interactions between the fields of literature and journalism. On one hand, she does this in a particular manner, explaining how these dialogues and their tensions emerge from an Argentinean perspective, taking into account the country's references, studies, and characteristics, On the other hand, she presents an universal angle, problematizing issues that go beyond the local, becoming regional, and converting into dense conceptual and epistemological aspects. This interview offers the readers with interesting explanations, but it also represents an invitation for establishing bridges and connections in the world of writing
