Of a bibliographic and documentary nature, the article problematizes the discourse on menopause in a platform-based society, postulating, from Nancy Fraser's perspective, the need to recognize the multiple experiences of this stage of life. Menopause is still conceived under a heteronormative femininity in which symptoms are medicalized and commodified. The study concludes that, in Brazil, even Natural Gynecology groups, although they question the pathologization and commodification of the physiological processes of menstruation and menopause, tend to reproduce essentialist and biologically centered views on sexual difference, limiting the inclusion of sex-gender dissidents
