For the first time in Yakut linguistics, the article examines the lexical and semantic property of the figurative verb of the verb of movement sundului-, and analyzes the semantic and syntactic features of spatial sentences formed by them. The aim of the study is to identify and describe the lexico-semantic structure of the figurative verbal lexeme sundului-, as well as the semantics and syntactic composition of spatial phrases, the top of which is represented by a predicate expressed by this verb. The main objectives of the study: to determine the combinability potential of the verb under discussion; to analyze the influence of the lexical meaning of nouns filling the position of the subject on the semantics of the predicate verb; to describe the features of the valence and syntactic structure of constructions that are formed by the verb under discussion; to identify the contextual meanings of the spatial phrases with the verb in question. Research methods and techniques: structural-semantic method, component analysis, distributive analysis, contextual approach. As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that the syntactic features of the considered sentences are determined by the incorporated semantics of this predicate verb and due to the nature of the lexical and grammatical content of the sentence composition and contextual conditions. The actant localizer is formed by a structure that primarily indicates the direction of movement or the final point of movement. Such proposals are respectively characterized by the meaning of the direction of movement or the final destination of movement – directives-finish, as well as the semantics of the environment/route of movement of the subject. Sentences with the considered figurative verb of movement, as well as sentences with other similar figurative verbs, are peripheral means of expressing spatial relations
