The article is devoted to the description of the tasks, methods and prospects of studying the language of Khakass heroic tales as an independent, interdisciplinary layer of the language system located at another level. The relevance of the research topic is related to the lack of works in Khakass philology that represent the need to study folklore texts, as well as the insufficiency of works devoted to this topic. The novelty of the research lies in the fact that for the first time the scientific parameters of Khakass linguo-folklore are prescribed as a new scientific direction in Khakass philology. In the course of the work, search and research and descriptive methods were used. The aim of the article is to determine the goals, objectives and prospects for the development of Khakass linguistic folkloristics. The main conclusions and results of the study follow from the formulation of the problem, and they are set out in the following theses. The language of folklore, characterized by an abundance of figurative and aesthetic expressions, traditional and orally processed cliched constructions, peculiar synonymous variations and other specific lexical formulas implicating the spiritual and ideological aspects of the ethnos, requires interdisciplinary research methods that help identify the linguistic features of the texts of heroic tales in combination with the traditional ideological aspects of the ethnos. The tasks of describing the diversity of linguistic phenomena in folklore discourse include, first of all, the analysis of the semantic structure of the word, its combinable parameters, as well as information from other humanities disciplines: folklore studies, ethnography, etc. Thus, the main object of linguistic and folklore research is the folklore word
