Tajikistan, being a key region for the existence of Persian culture in Central Asia, has entered a new stage of national identity formation based on the heritage of the Persian Empire since gaining independence in 1991. Based on three types of key sources – studies of Persian culture; works dedicated to Tajikistan; analytical materials on the Central Asian region – the author identifies four main channels for the transmission of Persian culture in Tajikistan: language and writing, art and aesthetics, folk life, and cultural identity. Four characteristic features of its contemporary reproduction are formulated: selectivity, regionalization, stratification, and adapta-tion to the spirit of the times. The article provides an in‐depth analysis of real problems such as the impact of globalization, the imperfection of the transmission system itself, the imbalance in regional cultural exchange, as well as the driving forces of development, including the need for national identity, the desire to enhance re-gional competitiveness, and the adaptability of the culture itself. The study shows that Persian culture not only helps Tajikistan build a distinctive local system that distinguishes it from the Turkic‐speaking cultures of Central Asia, but also becomes a key marker for strengthening national cohesion and increasing the cultural visibility of the region. Thus, Tajikistan represents a telling example and a source of practical experience for trans‐regional transmission within the Persian‐speaking cultural area and for the coexistence of diverse civilizations in Central Asia
