The issues of typology and chronology of ceramic products in the territory of historical Volhynia during the period of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania remain insufficiently developed. Closed archaeological complexes that are reliably dated by numismatic finds or things for which a narrow chronological framework is established are the basis for such research. The article analyzes materials from three such complexes. They belong to two chronological stages: 1) the end of the 14th — the first half of the 15th centuries (a dwelling in the village of Khrinnyky); 2) the end of the 15th — the first third of the 16th centuries (dwellings in Peresopnytsia and Dorohobuzh). According to the production technology, all earthenware from the pits of buildings is divided into two groups: low quality (archaic) and high quality. The first group of dishes is represented only by kitchen pots made on a slowly rotating potter’s wheel. The products of the second group are distinguished by their high quality and rich assortment. They are pots, jugs, makitras, bowls and lids, frying pans, and tiles. The high-quality earthenware of Volhynian potters in terms of assortment, profiling, and ornamentation has analogies among ceramic products from the Middle Dnieper, Podillia, Northern Bukovyna, and Galicia. There are also certain features, in particular, in the shapes of the dishes and the profiling of the brims of the pots. Also important are the analogies traced for Volhynian ceramics in the territory of Poland; they indicate the direction of innovations that appeared in Volhynia due to the spread of high quality pottery and improved pottery kilns
