INTRODUCTION: This study reports on the internship experience in Primary Health Care, during which a Psychology intervention was conducted at the Vida Plena Community Complex, in Salvador, Bahia.OBJECTIVE: Critically analyze the actions developed during an experience in Psychology in Primary Health Care, with a view to building possibilities of care and strengthening the autonomy of users in psychological suffering experienced in situations of vulnerability. METHOD: Experience report on monitoring ten families in vulnerable situations, as well as collecting data through medical record entries and supervision. RESULTS: The need to prioritize practical actions to address the social demands underlying psychological suffering was highlighted, emphasizing equitable actions, respect for user integrity, and coping strategies grounded in public policies and Psychology guidelines. CONCLUSION: The experience demonstrated the importance of learning through comprehensive and interdisciplinary approaches, both intra and intersectoral
