Throughout the world, right-wing political parties and regimes have gained power in the last decade. Better understanding how related political ideas and concepts have traveled throughout these contexts has become a relevant issue. Some of the questions that guided this special issue were: How does the new right circulate ideas? Which actors, practices and media are mobilized? What are the disputes and how they present themselves in the field of ideas? The articles featured here focus on the presence of specific actors, movements, or practices within right-wing politics in Latin America and on how these actors mobilize their ideas through various media to achieve their political goals
