The development of the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Indonesia aims to enhance local communities’ well-being through tourism. This study explores the SEZ’s economic and social benefits, focusing on employment, infrastructure, resource accessibility, and education facilities. Findings show that tourism has significantly increased job opportunities, boosting incomes and economic activities. The SEZ has also improved infrastructure, including access to water, internet, fuel, and education facilities. However, educational and skill barriers have prevented some residents from benefiting equally. The study highlights the need for inclusive development strategies to ensure equitable benefits and sustainable growth, making the SEZ a model for other regions
