This article aims to reflect on the dynamics of information and communication technologies uses and Haitian women’s activism experiences in Brazil, considering immigration flows from Haiti intensification since 2010 and the emergence of communicative spaces for this group’s collective actions. The proposed work is conceptually based on the interface between female transnational migration and communication, adopting a qualitative methodology that includes five interviews with Haitian immigrants in the Brazilian states of São Paulo and Santa Catarina; furthermore, this group Internet activism’s experiences have been observed followed by data collection. Results point to the exercise of activism marked by three perspectives: the relevance of education in the processes of these women public participation; the occupation and creation of media spaces to address Haitian immigration in Brazil reality; and gender conditioning for immigrant engagement in activist actions
