This article aims to associate the idea of desire as production and the idea of schizophonic voice and low-tech technologies to understand creative aspects of the show A Máquina Desejante (2023). To this end, a conceptual perspective of desire and a discursive path involving operability, possibilities, metaphor, meaning, technique and failure will be presented, along with images and reports of some of the devices developed during the creative process
