В статье представлено диалектико-логическое понимание сущности искусства через систему многих определений, разворачивающихся от абстрактного к конкретному. Вводятся критерии отличия искусства от антиискусства и псевдоискусства. Выделяются три уровня изобразительного искусства, характерные для всех его жанров: субъективно-игровое (или технематическое), социально-исповедальное и софийное.
