This particular study explores the determinants of mobile payment adoption and usage among rural consumers, focusing on the roles of trust, security, digital literacy, and technology anxiety. From the findings of the study it is clear that trust and digital literacy significantly enhance adoption intentions, while technology anxiety negatively affects the likelihood of adoption. The socio-demographic factors like, age and income, these influence the adoption behavior. The younger and higher-income individuals are showing a larger adoption propensity. The study demonstrating the importance of secure, user-friendly mobile payment platforms and targeted digital literacy initiatives to foster financial inclusion in rural communities. By integrating psychological and socio-demographic perspectives, the research provides practical insights for policymakers and service providers aiming to increase mobile payment adoption in emerging markets
