A Correlational Study of Social Networking Addiction, Body Image and Neuroticism Among College Students

A correlational study was conducted with the variables Social Networking addiction, Body Image and Neuroticism, on a sample of college-going students aged between 17 to 25 years college students. The data was evaluated using descriptive statistics. The normal distribution curve for the variables was checked. Non-parametric Spearman’s rho correlation was carried out. It was revealed that Social Networking addiction is positively correlated with Neuroticism and positively correlated with a negative Body Image, whereas Body Image and Neuroticism had no correlation
