In today’s competitive work environment, achieving a harmonious balance between professional responsibilities and personal life is critical for sustaining employee well-being and organizational effectiveness. This study examines the interrelationship between job satisfaction and work-life balance among employees in the Information Technology (IT) and manufacturing sectors, with a particular focus on gender-based differences. Employing a 2x2 comparative research design, data were gathered from a stratified random sample of 120 employees (comprising 30 male and 30 female participants from each industry) based in Pune. The research utilized standardized instruments—the Job Satisfaction Scale (JSS) and the Work-Life Balance Scale (WLBS)—to quantify employee attitudes and perceptions. Statistical analyses, including T-test and Pearson Product correlation, revealed significant differences in job satisfaction levels between the IT and manufacturing sectors, while gender differences were not statistically significant. These findings provide actionable insights for human resource practitioners and organizational leaders, emphasizing the need for industry-specific policies that foster supportive work environments and promote overall employee well-being
