The review examines the Catalog of Buddhist Manuscripts and Woodcuts in Tibetan and Mongolian published in 2024 by the Tuvan Institute of Humanitarian and Applied Socio-Economic Research, carried out in the cooperation between two scientific institutions — the Kalmyk Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Tuvan Institute of Humanitarian and Applied Socio-Economic Research. The publication of the catalog from the Foundation of the Tuvan Institute of Humanitarian and Applied Socio-Economic Research is a significant and important work of Kalmyk and Tuvan scientists. This is important for several reasons, firstly, it significantly expands the ability of researchers to work with sources, deepen scientific cooperation and increase the openness of academic communication. Secondly, the information on the written sources is often fragmented and dispersed across various publications, and thirdly, in the future, it may allow the formation of a unified register of the historical and documentary heritage of the Mongolian peoples, dispersed in different Russian repositories
