This paper proposes an interpretation of Cuadernos Summa - Nueva Visión as an example of cultural transfer, as its editors sought to introduce a series of references, works, and perspectives drawn from European and North American publications, replacing previous practices and ideas in Argentina. These new perspectives would later have a significant impact on Argentine architectural historiography, professional practice and education. The Cuadernos were an Argentine architectural journal whose first series ran from 1968 to 1970. This paper begins with an overview of the publication, followed by a detailed quantitative analysis of its sources and themes. It concludes by situating the journal within the broader context of contemporary Argentina and the specific milieu of Argentine historiography, architectural practice, and education during the 1960s and 1970s
