This study employed the strategical terminology of color in Holy Qur'an from Arabic into English and Kurdish. Further, 51 color terms were translated semantically (55%) and communicatively (45%) as translation procedures. Also, 25 verses were used which included six colors in this qualitative study (red, green, black, yellow, white, and blue). In general, the terms of colors are being used in Semantic Translation Procedure (STP), that is, a means of categorizing the basic color in different sources. Although, when symbolic and figurative contents have been examined, translators carried out the Vinay and Darbelnet's oblique translation procedures. In this regard, communicative procedures have been used in translation of Kurdish language than English translation. The findings of the study reveals that color terminology translation holy Qur’an illustrates unique process and challenging noticing of consideration between the clarity of semantic and cultural connection, also present practical perceptiveness to translation studies
