The article included errors about the work of Dr. Macintyre in relation to those conflicts. It is appropriate to note that Dr. Macintyre has written extensively on questions of human rights in Papua New Guinea, is the past president of the Australian Anthropology Society, and is the current editor of its journal, The Australian Journal of Anthropology. It is also appropriate to note that Dr. Macintyre has informed us that she acted in full compliance with ethical and professional standards in all her work, including her work in relation to Porgera. Any suggestion to the contrary was not the view of Current Anthropology.Literature CitedCoumans, Catherine. 2011.
