A comprehensive historiographical analysis of the published works by young scholars of M. Rylskyi Institute of Art Studies, Folkloristics and Ethnology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (IASFE, Institute) as an important component of the development of contemporary humanities is submitted in the article. The study is based on the analysis of materials from the professional journal «Folk Art and Ethnology» (“FAE”) in particular published works in the section «Young Researcher’s Tribune», as well as individual monographs and collective publications prepared by young scholars of the institution. The dynamics of thematic priorities, methodological guidelines, and genre formats of scientific texts from the late 20th and early 21st centuries to the present day are traced. Particular attention is paid to clarifying the relationship between the traditional areas of research for the institute’s scientific school (study of family and calendar rituals, folk worldview, material culture, decorative and applied arts, the history of folklore and ethnology) with new research vectors those have become relevant in the context of social transformations. An expansion of the problem field has been identified in the direction of studying identity, migration processes, urban everyday life, cultural memory, media culture, the transformation of family rituals, and sociocultural practices in the context of war. It has been shown that young researchers are actively integrating interdisciplinary approaches, combining classical source bases (field materials, archival documents, journalism, statistical data) with modern methods of analysis. As it is testified in the article, the publication activity of young scientists is an indicator of institutional dynamics, as well as also a factor in the renewal of the scientific paradigm. The journal «Folk Art and Ethnology» is considered as a stable platform for professional testing, the formation of scientific identity, and ensuring the continuity of academic tradition. It is concluded that the activities of young scientists at M. Rylskyi Institute of Art Studies, Folkloristics and Ethnology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine demonstrate a combination of scientific continuity and openness to new topics and methodologies responding to the contemporary challenges of the humanities
