Time is one of the multidimensional concepts in the history of thought that continues to be debated. The time that emerges depending on the mat-ter is considered as the physical dimension of time. Time, which is conside-red independent of matter and movement, is considered as a metaphysical dimension. In this study, we will try to make a comparison by examining the metaphysical dimension of time specifically in the context of Ibn al-Arabi and Bergson. Ibn Arabi expresses time in the metaphysical sense with the concept of dahr. In this sense, Bergson describes time with the concept of duree. Both thinkers argue that real time can be known through some kind of intuition. Ibn al-'Arabī explains this in his system with kashf and al-muqashafah. Bergson thought it possible to look at time from within itself rather than from the outside. Both thinkers attributed a kind of creativity to these concepts at the center of becoming and flow. In our study, we will try to identify the central role played by these concepts in the thought systems of both thinkers
