The concept of identity is a complex one, and it can be hard to define what we are collectively capable of. Even if we can try to associate ourselves with certain traits or tags, it is not always possible to achieve a complete understanding of what our identities are. Another challenging aspect of this concept is how we can come up with the parameters that define our identities. Before we can be considered "linguistically assigned," we are assigned territorial status by virtue of our birth. This assignment, which would eventually become part of our identity, is regarded as one of the most crucial elements of our recognition as a part of an "imagined community." One of the most common factors that people tend to consider when it comes to defining their identities is their location. Although it is undeniably true that one's birth location can be a natural determinant of one's identity, it is also believed that this phenomenon can be influenced by a historical process known as "imagination." The study explored the linguistic composition of Hyderabad’s cuisine, which is based on an analysis of its food scenes within public areas. It shows how diverse the region is when it comes to its cuisines, with its diverse language choices, cultural heritage, and modern era influences. This study sheds light on the urban sociolinguistic structure and offers recommendations on how to sustain cultural diversity. The concept of the linguistic landscape is relatively new in modern linguistics, with its methodologies and approaches constantly changing. This article aims to explore the cognitive dimension of this concept
