Responding to the situation stimulated by religious fundamentalism and radicalism, the Indonesian government, through the Ministry of Religious Affairs, initiated an inclusive religious pattern that can accept and respect differences; the product was named religious moderation This article is a qualitative study that aims to offer the praxis of religious moderation through modeling the life practices of the inaugural church. Using a descriptive analysis method based on literature review, this study shows that the hospitality of the first church, as shown by Amos Yong and Amy G. Oden, was a practice of religious moderation in church life in the midst of socio-political disruption at the time. We conclude that hospitality can be a church lifestyle that expresses the practice of religious moderation in Indonesia. Kehidupan beragama mengalami tingkat yang mengkhawatirkan dalam dua dasawarsa terakhir, di mana terjadi eskalasi kekerasan yang mengarah kepada pembuhuan hingga kesadisan dengan mengatasnamakan agama. Merespons situasi yang distimulasi oleh fundamentalisme dan radikalisme beragama, pemerintah Indonesia, melalui Kementrian Agama, menginisiasi sebuah pola beragama yang inklusif, yang dapat menerima dan menghargai perbedaan; produk itu dinamai moderasi beragama Artikel ini adalah sebuah penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menawarkan praksis moderasi beragama melalui permodelan laku hidup gereja perdana. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif yang berbasis pada kajian literatur, penelitian ini memperlihatkan hospitalitas gereja perdana, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh Amos Yong dan Amy G. Oden, merupakan sebuah laku moderasi beragama dalam hidup menggereja di tengah disrupsi sosial-politik saat itu. Kami menyimpulkan bahwa hospitalitas dapat menjadi gaya hidup menggereja yang mengekspresikan laku moderasi beragama di Indonesia
