Resumo
This article argues that the current political and social crisis in Brazil is the result of a hybrid war strategy implemented by the military. This strategy, which combines conventional and unconventional warfare tactics, aims to destabilize the country and create the conditions for a military intervention. The article analyzes the different phases of this strategy, from the impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff in 2016 to the election of Jair Bolsonaro in 2018, and argues that the military has been successful in achieving its objectives. The article concludes by warning that the hybrid war in Brazil is not over and that the military is likely to continue to use these tactics to maintain its power.
